Last month Te Hono, New Plymouth Airport gained two awards in the Airport Association Awards
(2021). These awards were postponed due to Covid in 2021.
Te Hono won the Medium Airport of the Year (2021) and Medium Infrastructure Project of the Year
(2021)
These awards recognized the tremendous efforts of all those who were involved in the construction
project of Te Hono, as well as acknowledging New Plymouth Airport as the best in its class for 2021.
